Know How Resourcing is currently recruiting for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our client’s team in Knaresborough.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate welding equipment to carry out various welding processes, with a focus on stick welding.
- Fabricate metal parts by cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
- Use both power tools and hand tools efficiently for fabrication tasks.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure precise assembly.
- Perform quality inspections on completed work to ensure all specifications are met.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, following all health and safety regulations.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in welding, particularly stick welding.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand technical systems.
- Good mathematical skills for accurate measuring and fabrication work.
- Previous experience working with sheet metal and a range of materials.
- Confident using both hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to follow drawings and specifications to assemble components accurately.
- High attention to detail and a focus on producing quality work.
